Is Volvo Coolant required? V70-XC70 1998

If you are changing the coolant, it may be ok to use a non-Volvo coolant but if you are just topping it off, you shouldn't mix coolants. If all you need is a little top off, the dealer service department might do it no charge (that's what my dealer told me). Otherwise, buy it from their parts dept.
