T6 TURBO TIMER S80

HI HAD A QUERY REGARDING WHETHER OUR CARS NEED A TURBO TIMER

I KNOW THE TURBOS DO NOT PRODUCE A HUGE AMOUNT OF BOOST

BUT I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN TAUGHT THAT IN TURBO CARS , ,THAT THEY SHOULD BE LEFT TO IDLE FOR A MIN BEFORE TURNING OFF THE ENGINE TO ALLOW THE HEAT WITHIN THE TURBO TO ESCAPE

I HEAR THE ENGINE FAN WHIRRING AFTER SHUTTING OFF THE ENGINE TRYING TO COOL DOWN THE CAR. AT THE MOMENT I JUST TRY NOT TO GIVE IT SOME HARD CHARGING IF MY DESTINATION IS APPROACHING.
