Brake pulsing at low to medium speed? S70

Sometimes when I apply the brakes at low to medium speeds I get a pumping or pulsing of the brake pedal. This happens very intermitantly, but the frequency seems to be increasing. Since I don't imagine that this is normal, I'm wondering if this a sign of a serious problem with the ABS system. I have heard rumors about the S70 having cronic problems with the brake system. My car has about 92k on the odometer, but the brakes were serviced about 7k miles ago. Any ideas or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
