used v 70 se 2000 V70-XC70

Clunk or Hard Rattle sounds like a control arm bushing gone bad. I think that with 850's after '93 and V70's it's a replacement of the whole control arm. Although not very expensive (look on Eeuroparts.com), you'll need to re-align your front end after the replacement. Are your tires wearing excessively on the inside? You can probably get away with replacing only one side if the noise isn't from both sides. Good luck!
