Bird noises from dash

I have a '95 850 and it makes a lot of racket. There are all sorts of strange bird noises (squeaks, chirps, etc) coming from the dash area. One particularly annoying one occurs in cold weather when I'm turning right. The mechanics at the dealership think I'm crazy, because they never hear it. Any suggestions?

Ok - no laughing please. Is there a way to tighten everything in the dash? I've looked around the internet and don't see anything. I'm embarrassed to have people in the car, because it sounds like the car is ready to fall to bits. Is this something I can do myself? (I don't have much experience, but I follow directions very well - obviously I'm a woman (hee hee - no offense)).

Thanks - Christie
