V70 purchase V70-XC70

I'm a new lurker from mye28.com wanting to buy a V70. I think I already know that 99's and 00's are more reliable with fewer problems than others. Am I correct in this? I know turbos are more fun, are they more trouble? What about AWD? This will be my wife's car primarily, I'll still drive my chipped and diffed 535i. Is there a site for DAQ's (dumb ass questions) like this? Thanks for your input. David
