Dual exhaust/S40! Is it possible???? S40-V40

MY 98 v40 has twin outlets which are about 3 inches apart.
This is standard on this model and year.
I would think that to convert the system to twin outlets (1 each side of the car)would be very pricey as a standard setup is expensive.
