Power driver's seat/ Backrest Tilt button 850 1993

I just fixed my seat back rest a couple of weeks ago. I found a number of ways to cut costs: 1) I bought the hog ring pliers from an aution at ebay for about $7. 2) I found a local auto upolstery repair shop who just gave me a handful of hog rings. 3) Finally, i never had to replace the cable. It just needed to be adjusted. I read some that you can just hammer the center of the cable and that would stretch it out. I played with it a little and that was sufficient. Give yourself a couple of hours and a lot of patience. Good luck!
