I need new tires 850 1994

Hi there! I was looking for information on tires, and boy is there a lot to read here! I have a 94 850 - 'Touring Package' (not a turbo) and currently have my winter tires still on the car. I have Pirelli P6000 for my summer tires - I bought the car used and have had to replace two tires already, and I am now ready to replace the other two. The thing is that they really don't seem to be the most economical choice. Don't get me wrong I love the way they let me stick to the road, especially around the corners, but I feel I may need to compromise a little to save some bucks. You guys all seem to be a fountain of knowledge so I am asking for some opinions. These seem to be the ones I have found interesting so far: Yokohama Avid, Toyo Proxy's or Spectrum, Kumho 716 Ecstas, Michelin EnergyMXV4 or Pilot. The tire guy I have gone to before recommended the Michelin Hydroedge - I bought the X-1's for my 740 wagon, but they always seemed to slip a little around the corners - maybe that had to do with the fact that it is a wagon - not sure. Anyway I am really looking forward to what you guys have to say - Thanks!
