srss warning light 850 1993

After having a new engine head put on at the dealership, the SRSS warning light is on. I have had the dealership turn it off once but they have told me it is a sensor and they will not turn it off again but can only attend to repair. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it without resorting to the dealership?
