Air Pump Rely Problem??

OK - pulled the air pump & attached relay & the SAS Valve (near the turbo unit. Everything looked to be ok and fuctional. The Air Pump it self was dry and did not contain any water. The hoses were in great shape.

I cleaned the connectors and applied a small amount of dielectric grease to help waterproof if possible. Re-installed everything, including a new battery (gotta love Autozone for this - just swap and go).

Alarm starts off again - and work the locks to terminate. The Air pump didn't come on immediately with the new battery. So start the car - runs great!!! Shut down after a minute and no air pump - I thought.

Let the car run till up at operating temp, then took out for a brisk drive. Shut down the car and the air pump was still running. No codes or CEL as of yet. So I disconnected the batter to prevent it from running all nite and killing another battery.

So - I'm guessing the relay is bad. Or is it some other sensor that is giving bad info to the relay?? Any ideas other than replace the air pump relay and see if that works??

Thanks in advance - Andrew
