ETS lights comes on while driving. S70

2000 S70 Turbo

The ETS light has come on several times and I have noticed that there is some loss of power to the engine while driving. IT feels like the car is surging back and forth.


It was suggested that maybe the Eletronic Throttle Module needs to be cleaned and/or the software for the ETM needs to upgraded. Any thoughts on this? Possible costs to fix the problem assuming the ETM needs cleaning and the software needs an update.
