Front End Noise 1999 S80

I've been experiencing a clunk or thud noise from the front end area of my S80. I recently had the bushings and arms replaced in the front end by a Volvo dealer, but it didn't seem to take care of the problem The issue is more pronounced at lower speeds over slightly bumpy paved roads, and when I go to accelerate from a stop. It sounds like the noise is equal from both passenger and driver sides, and under the area of the floorboards. When I accelerate from a stop it sometimes feels as if the front end has to "catch- up" or shifts alittle. Is there some sort of bushing or grommets cushions in this area that I should have checked? The ball-joints are new, as are the struts and brakes. Anyone have any suggestions for me?
Thanks
