Slow pick up from stop and low mileage 850 1995

I have a 95 850 trubo with 108000 miles that has been maintained to schedule..but I have been seeing real bad gas mileage from the car for the last 2 months..I had to get a new catalytic converter installed about 6 months back and had done a major tune up last Dec.(plugs, wires, fuel, cap, rotor, air). This is the first time I have used non volvo plugs and I went with Bosch plugs..I was thinking if Bosch plugs are giving me bad mileage ??. The other symptom that i have been noticing is that now the exhaust is making a deep sound(like a Baratone) during acceleration from a stop ..Sometimes i hear exhaust coming out of the cat in bubbly sound..especially after driving at high speeds..does anyone have an ideas on where the problem might be...

So far i have not been able to get any codes from the car that would be direct me to a source of the symptons..
