What Should I Replace?.... intermittent lag 850 1994

no codes are set. there is an obvious lag in performance at low rpm's. the car even sputters and jerks until about 3500. after not starting for a few days, while revving the engine just after start, thin white smoke comes out the tail. i thought about the following replacements, but can't afford them all. its a 94 n/a 850 with about 92000 miles.

airbox thermostat
knock sensors
oxygen sensors
catalytic converter

could someone please explain what symptoms might be of each of these being faulty? who knows, the culprit may not even be anywhere near where i'm looking, but hey, what the kcuf, right?
