Volvo coolant V70-XC70 1998

Anti-corrosive and phosphate free are the key...as long as you have any type of Volvo warranty, use the Volvo antifreeze...they'll void your warranty in a New York minute if you don't have proper documentation.

I use Pentosin at the shop. I'm not real sure if it is available in any stores, since I purchase it from a supplier. It looks just like Volvo coolant, and is, in theory, supposed to be the same. It is available in red and blue. For those customers with pets, or who generally feed the wildlife, I use the Prestone low tox if they are no longer under warranty. If they are under warranty, I use a bitter additive. Coolant is sweet...it has killed many a pet...I don't want any of my customers to loose a pet because they had an expansion cap decide to leak.
