Wipers are 'tired'

My beautiful 1995 850 got rear-ended and written off. Stupid SUV hit the trunk before it hit the bumper. No injuries.

Now I have a 1993 850 with the leather seats, sunroof, etc. The windshield wipers were working fine. Then they got "tired". They come on, but slow and then slow to a stop. If I tap the stem for a single wipe, they move a little bit. Could it be an electrical problem?

The horn quit working, but that got fixed. That was an electrical problem, not broken horns. The locking system worked fine at first, but now only works once in a blue moon. I have to lock/unlock each door individually. Could that be related?

Any suggestions appreciated.
