A3- 144-141-214-213-444,its all brake stuff and I just replaced rear calipers rotors etc....cant clear the codes,also my right rear brakes are not closing? everything is new, could that have to do with code 444? now socket A6 i get code 241? and last but not least socket A7 i get code 122.
A3 - 144: Brake disks overheated
A3 - 141: Faulty pedal sensor, shorted to ground or supply
A3 - 214: Right side rear wheel sensor, no signal on moving off
A3 - 444: No power supply to valves in hydraulic unit
A6 - 214: Engine speed sensor missing sporadically
A7 - 122: Engine coolant temperature sensor, interval too long
Okay, 144, brake disks overheated is a no brainer, you replaced the calipers, most likely for a reason; I suspect they were locking up. Also, 214 is a no brainer, if it's not closing, well then it's not opening signaling that you are moving. Because the hydraulic unit operates in sections, right front wheel, left front wheel, both rear wheels, there is no reason, other than a mechanical failure, for the right rear caliper to not close. Either it is not getting fluid to it (make sure your hose isn't twisted)...or it is a bum caliper, and it is time for you to scream, "warranty"!
Now 141, and 444, these go together. The power supply to the hydraulic unit comes from the pedal sensor. Which, if you were bleeding with the old pump, pump, pump, hold method, with the key in the on position, well...we could have taken out something, and since the code is for the pedal sensor, I would suspect that to be the culprit. It is the round little sensor with an electrical connector on the brake booster.
Code 214 is self explanatory, your crank sensor is beginning to fail. 122 is also self explanatory, it's time for an ECT sensor and a thermostat.
