NO DASH/CONSOLE LIGHITS EITHER, BUT WITH A TWIST...... 850 1995

I'm having the same problem as David S is with the dash/console lights. Only my problem is all the time. I just bought the car and don't know who the previous owner is to ask if this has been ongoing. After I start the car and turn the rotaty light switch to the on position for night driving everything comes on just fine. Then, about 15 seconds later or if I switch to high beams, the dash/console and shifter lights go dark and nothing will bring them back on. I've tried the dash dimmer slide switch over the rear fog lamp switch but no luck.........What's up......

Thanks in advance......P.S. So far, all the problems I've posted for this car in the past week have been corrected by the suggestions from all of you....
