Tailgate power lock/ rear window trim 850 1995

Recently bought a 1995, 850 wagon, 10 valve, 5spd, love the car. I apprenticed at a Jag/Volvo dealer when the 740 Turbo was the car to have (late 80's). Anyways, the power lock motor on my tailgate will only occasionally do it's job both for opening and closing. It only seemed to act up after I used the key in the tailgate lock. I tore it all apart and it moves both ways, however it seems like the motor is weak, can i buy the motor or power lock assy or do I have to buy a whole lock assy, could one from a door work? Also the trim running along the bottom of the rear glass is corroding, can it be replaced easily or does the glass have to come out.
