Roll Bars C70 2000

Hi. My car was hit from behind and the roll bars came up. Since then, the top of my convertible top has been pulling away from the glass in the back and is now completely off of the top part of the rear glass window. Did the roll bars cause this? They were hitting the top of the car or was it my imagination? I read somewhere that the roll bars came up 18" and the headroom is 36.6" in the back seat, so does that mean that the roll bars reached the top of the car? I swear the roll bars hit the top of the car but my local Volvo dealership guy says they do not. I'm quite certain they did, so does anyone know for sure if they do or not? We couldn't get the bars back up to check it out. Is there a Volvo expert number I can call or something? Did the roll bars damage my top? Help, please. Thank you, Crissy.
