towing trailers with V70 V70-XC70 1998

Hi,

We have a 98 V70 that we're going to use to move up to NYC from New Orleans. We're thinking of putting a hitch on the back and towing a small Uhaul trailer. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with towing in their V70. I want to be sure it's safe to do. At the same time, I don't want to have to drive 45 mph for 1,500 miles. So...

1) What has been your experience?

2) Aside from getting the hitch and trailer, do I need anything else?

3) How fast are you able to drive?
