AC Firewall hose removal 850 1996

Great DPSC!!
Wow, now that just helps having a veteran who fought the same war! Thanks...I've ordered the Spring Lock Coupler 'tool' and will soon be yanking those lines out. Now did you say I don't have to disconnect the heater hoses at all or were you saying just the gaskets did not need to be disconnected?
Also noticed on line 18 you referred to removal of the hoses that would inevtiably lead to a rag day!
The graze I had was unrelated...the oil drain plug just didnt release well and my knuckle got a bite of the concrete! Visions of rounding up the Volvo 850 A/C designers and having them shot then memorialized with a plaque saying' How/Why not to Engineer Vehicles that way' by them and their A/C Blueprint, keep me going. Plus the mercury is rising above 80!
