towing trailers with V70 V70-XC70 1998

Daniel,

I installed my own hitch on my 01 V70 2.4T. I bought it at www.etrailer.com for about 1/2 of what u-haul wanted to charge me. The install took about 30 minutes for the hitch and 30 for the wiring.

I only have a small 5X8' utility trailer, but I've hauled a good sized lawn tractor around with it. You'll see a noticable mileage drop when hauling a load, but I've had no problems, shifts normal. As the one of the other replies mentioned, you're stopping distance will increase a bit so plan ahead.

Good luck!
