Trip computer temp reading 'LO' 850 1994

Hi,

Since my trip computer temperature reading was saying "LO" all of the time I suspected that the temp sensor just behind the front air scoop in the bumper was faulty. Having cleaned the connectors and replaced the sensor with a new one from the local Volvo dealership I am now puzzled as to what else it could be.

Does anyone have any ideas ? I have tried to trace the wires from the sensor back to the dash with little success.

Can anybody shed some light on this ?
