PISS POOR DEALERS...... V70-XC70 1998

My saga continues......

The 98 XC with a bad timing belt tensioner, of which Lovering Volvo in Concord NH said: I needed a new cyc. head" WRONG! I agreed to have the head taken off and then sent it to a reputable shop to be rebuilt and ported to match my ported and polished intake and exhaust manifolds. Guess what, no damage to the valves, not even a mark on the pistons..... Now the DEALER said the valve guides must have broken.... WTF, I love how a dealer can spend OPM! $4,000 later and it will be back on the road..... FOR NOT!

Needless to say, I have a new SAAB in the driveway, and I was actually intertaining an R.......

VOLVO HAS SOLD IT'S SOUL! THE DEALERS AT $80-90/ HOUR ARE NOT ANY BETTER.

If it were not for the saftey aspects, this would be worse than owning a Pontiac Fiero.
