v40 shifting problems, jerking S40-V40 2000

There is a software upgrade for the 00-01 S/V40 transmissions. Not everyone seems to need it though. You can have the dealer check to see if this is needed. Others who have had this say the upgrade clears it up.

BTW: Make sure you fill or top up your transmission ONLY with Volvo's overpriced fluid for these trannys. My dealer sells it for $13/quart.....ouch. Unfortunately, nothing else will work right.
