Oil leak 850 1995

Maybe my 10 years of good luck on the 850 have come to a sudden end. Yesterday the car started spotting on the garage floor, drivers side. After about 2 hours of sitting after coming back from work there was an additional 1 tsp of fresh oil on the floor, so it looks like the leak is accelerating.

Got under the car and I would guess it's coming from the rear crank seal, as the area where auto tranny meets motor is damp. I know these things can be deceiving, but that's my best guess.

Is this type of leak common on the 850? I have 104k gentle miles on it. Looks to be beyond my skill level. Any guesses on how large a repair bill this might be?

Thanks
