Sway Bar Link - Tyre Wear 850

Well after noticing some noise from the front suspension (thump, thump) I decided it was time to take a closer look.

Turns out that my sway barlink on passenger side lower bush was worn out, so I replaced it yesterday. Its really nice to get rid of the thump/thump over small bumps and was an easy fix.. Anyway while I was working on the car I also noticed the outer edge of my tyre on the passenger side is more worn than usual.

Question is would the wear in the sway link have caused this or is this wear likely to be due to another bush thats worn? (I gave the wheel a tug but could feel no major play in it)
The other wheel/tyre shows no excessive wear.

Thanks for your help
