Problem SOLVED!!!!! intermittent start 850

So, just when you think your problem sounds like everyone elses..... The mechanics could not understand why it would stall and not start. They started tracing the wires from the fuel pump to the engine. The previous owner had some !@#$%^& wingnut install an aftermarket alarm system which had been removed before I bought the car. They did leave 3 or 4 different spliced wires to the fuel pump all joined together with cheap connectors, causing the wires to heat up, lose contact and cause me and the mechanics a lot of grief!! I can't believe someone would spend this kind of money on a new car to have it hacked by some amateur. Thanks for all the posts, great forum.
