breaking down @ 41000 miles? S40-V40

The first item, ignition coil, certainly could be faulty, but I do not know for sure if that would cause the "Check Engine" light.

The other items do not seem related to the problem. But it certainly does not hurt to replace the serpentine belt if it is showing wear. I am surprised a motor mount needs to be replaced already. Radiator hose and thermostat, again not related to the problem, but certainly may need replacement.

That total price seems quite high. But it seems all the dealers are like that these days. I might want Volvo to pay for the ignition coil and the motor mount. Especially if you have proof of doing all the service recommended by Volvo.

And you did not have any major mechanical problems, these are, for the most part, wear items.
