S80 Flame Trap S80 2000

I have a 2000 s80 t6. I am getting a check engine light along with a message that says Emission service required. Took it to the dealer and they said that I have a leak in the flame trap and want 500+ to repair it. The flame trap was repaired a couple of years ago but still under warranty. Does this seam reasonable. Is the flame trap in a hard to reach place. Can a flame trap be repaired or is it necesary to replace? Thanks for any input.
