Strange Problem with Brakes 850 1994

I'd be opting for a problem with a hub bearing. When you hear the noise, try steering left and then steering right, see if the noise alters. Further, though others use aftermarket pads, I prefer not to. I've had them make the occasional grinding noise, just because they don't fit "exactly" and will every now and again shift slightly, and hit an unworn portion of the rotor, resulting in that awful grinding noise. This won't make a noise while coasting though...a hub bearing is what does that.
