Love/Hate Relationship '99 S70 Skip and Dip S70 1999

Well after many suggestions, which I appreciate...I changed my fuel filter and spark plugs...made it run a bit faster on the highway but unfortunately did not fix my "Skip and Dip" problem so I took it to the dealer. Well the dealer check the software and said I needed to have it updated and then stated I would have to replace my electronic throttle module too....$1,400.00 dollars..I told them I'd have to wait until payday...LOL We all know Volvo owners have to have a savings account specifically set up for our cars. I then took it to my trusty Volov mechanic..."Swedish Imports" in Edmond, Oklahoma. They checked out all the same things that the dealer did but stated the software was updated but that the module had to bee replaced, they tried to clean it but apparently the previous owner didnt' take great care of the car. So for $850.00 I have a new electronic throttle module and even check out the rest of the car and said it was in great shape.....Always great service from them. So now I love my S70 again.

Thanks again for everyones help

John
