Adding an accessory outlet to rear seat 850

The time for summer road trips is coming near. I have thought of putting a cigarette lighter in the back of the center console so my daughter can plug in her headset without bothering me. Question: can I safely plug the wires to the lighter in the front of the dash without over heating? If not, where should I plug it in.
I am assuming that there will be room to put a lighter socket because the rear seats are not heated. 1995 854t.

Thanks all
