Anyone used Volvo OEM tow hitch wiring kit? V70-XC70 2000

I have ordered the factory wiring harness to replace the generic unit my dealer installed (it failed after 3 years).

Has anyone installed this kit themselves? Any gotchas?

I will be using this with a pop-up camper. Is the 7 pin connector included the same type as used on campers in the US or is it something different?
