Air Conditioning question 850 1995

Had the same issue with mine, but the gages read 45-65psi! Was cycling likie crazy. After some thought, I surmised that over the years, I've added the small cans of A/C sealant, die and the like to see if I had any problems becuase it wasn't cool enough.

So I decided to evacuate all this stuuf from the system. I pressed down on the valve, let a bunch of the media out until I was down to about 20psi. Added 2 cans of 134 which brought the pressure up to around 45psi.

Now she runs real cold -- almost too cold at times. I need to tkae a little bit out, but this solved my probelem.

Also on my neighbors '91 Honda, he wasn't cold at all. I did the same thing (with R-12 though) and he's cool as a cucumber now.

Maybe the stuff gets old and degrades??

Good luck
