AWD questions V70-XC70

Guys (and gals?),

Man, does it ever feel strange to be posting on the FWD forum....

I've been giving some serious thought about stepping into the scary world of FWD Volvos.... I just don't think I'd like spinning the wrong wheels. So what about the AWD cars? I've been looking at an AWD turbo V70 (auto trans.) with about 70k miles, and I'm wondering how the components all hold up. Any problems with the (haldex?) AWD system? What are my chances of finding a 5spd AWD turbo? I've only ever seen a couple... I haven't heard anything specific, just that "they just don't last like the rwd cars did." So what are the actual troubles? What are some things I should be looking for? Thanks-
