unkown warning light....! 400 1996

hi,
the symbol you talk about is a bulb warning indicator,it comes on when car is started and stays on till the first time you press the brake pedal,then it should go out. if it stays on after you press the brake then one of you bulbs is not working......if it goes out at first but comes on every time you press the brake then one of your brake light bulbs is not working. either way its not critical just a warning for your own safety.
