Suspension service, what to replace? 850

I have an 1995 850 as well that I'm about to take to the auto shop to complete the same repair. I'd do the job myself, but have never tried this type of repair before. Can you help with installation instructions/tips? How hard is it and do you need any special tools? I'm pretty handy, just have not had to do this before.
