1998 XC70 Reset Computer How To? V70-XC70

1998 XC70

Is there a way to reset the computer... like disconnecting the battery ovenight... etc... Just curious... My moms XC90 has been doing some weird things and I thought maybe reseting the computer would be a good thing to do. For some reason sometimes the turn signals will not work or atleast according to the dash, the turn signals are not working... and she told me there's no clicking sound either. Next time it happens she will get out of the car and check... The problem goes away after she has stopped the car and restarts it. This does not always fix the problem however eventually they work again. I'm afraid for her to take it to Volvo.. They have already replaced the computer once.. Seems like it should be an easy fix... Any suggestion? ... Thankyou...
