Back-up sensors. C70

I am planning to install a "back-up sensor kit" to my '98 C70. The wiring diagram is simple enough, ground wire and hot wire to the back-up lights. The unit is operational when the back-up lights are activated.
My question is, "Will this unit trigger the dash indicator for a burnt out bulb?" Since I am drawing a minimal amount of power from the back-up lights.
Any one have any thoughts on this?
