Keyless Entry 850 1994

The alarm was standard on all 850's, and is actuated by using the key to lock the door. The key fob was optional on early models, I think. Mine didn't work and the dealer said the problem was in the car's receiver and he would fix it for a few bucks ($150?).
Well, I like using the key because it takes less room in my pocket. Besides, the key fob only locks and unlocks the car, and I need the key to make the car run anyway. Stupid fob, can't even open the trunk or roll up the windows.
