Code 435 850 1995

I used to get this code. I could keep it away for a few weeks/months at a time, but it would eventually resurface. The front O2 sensor was old. When I hooked a multimeter up to it, I could see that its response was very slow (i think around 2 seconds per cycle). I threw in a new O2 sensor and hooked the multimeter up to that one....its response was around 1/2 second per cycle....much better. I've never set a code since then.
