ok..you dont say what milage your car has on it..but im guessing in the 100k range from its age...and you bought a R AWD...

WHAT DO YOU EXPECT??? - you buy a car that WILL have been thrashed (why else buy an R) and its got all the hallmarks of a badly maintained car thats been thrashed...and got about 100k on it...

you want low cost buy a high spec but not attractive model (say gle with the 2.5 non turbo and 2wd.) with low miles and very good service history...one owner.. buy an R and unless you KNOW who owned it I would suggest your buying a car u have to ASSUME has had its ass whiped...

these cars are VERY fast, they require high levels of maintenance - no one ever said owning a performance vehicle is cheap....suprised you havent commented on the tyre wear...BTW the turbo seal would make me think you have or have had a PCV issue...
