MAF Sensor S70 1999

I changed mine with your symptoms and the mileage jumped considerably.

Mailed ordered the part for $162. from Brentwood Volvo and popped it in.

The MAF sensor comes in a large tube which goes between the air box and the main tube which goes to the rear of the engine. Takes 10 minutes. The hard part is removing the old MAF tube. First remove the connector then you must heat the hard plastic tubing with a blow dryer for a few minutes to soften the seal. Once warm use a plastic screwdriver or the like to break the seal between the tubes making sure you don't damage the arc of the tubing. Once you see the replacement part it will be self explanatory.

CEL gone for over a year now.

I would do it!
