E code lenses- worth it? S70

Hey, everyone. I'm thoroughly enjoying my "new" '98 S70 GLT.

Question: I know the E code headlight lenses are supposedly superior, but are they worth the $259 asking price? Most of my night driving is done on well lit streets in a medium-sized city, but twice a year I drive from Cedar Rapids, IA to Massachusetts. I've already thrown a pair of Silverstars in the headlight buckets, and they do provide an improvement over the $7.99 Wal-Mart specials; I'm wondering, though, if I should kick it up a notch for my trip in August and spring for the E-codes (a true HID conversion simply isn't cost feasible.) Any feedback?
