Remote door locks 850

I have a 93 & a 94 and have programmed each vehicle to accept the same remotes.

So yes you can program at least 3 remotes (which is all I have have) on those years. Check the archives for the procedure to be sure, but as I recall all you have to do is turn key from off to position II five times, leaving it in position II on the fifth. Then press either botton on each remote you want to use. You only have a few seconds to do the programming (maybe 5 to 10) so have all remotes ready.

It is my understanding that this resets rather then adds what remotes the car accepts, so you'll need to program even the ones that currently are in use.

I've heard there is a difference in remotes and not all work on all years. You may have to ask your dealer which part number remote you need. Also the remote itself might need a battery or might not work.
