Ignition Cylinder V70-XC70

If you want to keep the same key, it is a dealer only part. You give them you VIN, they order and you pay them approx. $100 when it arrives. If you want to do it yourself, you'll save maybe $150, otherwise dealer would be more than happy to assist.

PITA to replace, but a dremel helps with the breakoff heads, and getting the old unit out. I drilled mine out with a carbide bit, and it took me a little over two hours, start to finish.

No stars to Volvo on the design of that part.
