01 V70 XC..lowering springs.. V70-XC70

I wish to have my 01 XC lowered a few inches for easier access for me (im wheelchair bound)and was looking at the Eibach Sport Springs..WOuld anyone have experience with the resulting ride after this modification? Any suggestions about alternative was to lower the XC?
